Childhood and Upbringing in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

I was raised as a ultra conservative Mormon in Utah until I was 10 years old.
I was home schooled by my father, he taught me how to read, taught me about science, computers, evolution, and much more. While my father taught me from science books, my mother taught me from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. My mother was always fighting with my father about how to teach us, she wanted faith based home school curriculum.   In 2000 my father did the sane thing and divorced my abusive Mormon mother and we moved to Niles, Michigan.

I didn’t realize I was an atheist until I was around 15 or 16 years old, but I always questioned the Mormon church when I was young.
I remember when I  was 8 years old I was baptized into the Mormon church. The Mormon Bishop asked me to give my testimony.. I had no idea what to say, he said just tell us how the holy spirit makes you feel inside. I was confused. I said I didn’t feel anything.. I remember feeling guilty for not feeling anything, I thought I did something wrong.
