I’ve tried many times to have a discussion with intelligent Christians, but to no avail. It always ends up with them saying I just want to sin so I reject their God. They don’t seem to understand that there are other religions out there.

This is a recent online conversation I had with a Christian.

I am an atheist, I have no idea if there is a god or not. I don’t bother to try and find out. I will however try and find out how the universe works, because that is a worthwhile endeavor. Saying that God just did it however, is not worthwhile as it does not increase the knowledge of our species or advance us further.

I am an angry atheist because Pope Benedict XVI, the leader of 1 Billion people says “You can’t resolve [aids] with the distrubtion of condoms … On the contrary, it increases the problem.”
